PANDIM CONSULTANCY would deploy its Program Management Methodology as described in the following sections:
- Study and Business Analysis Phase
- Pilot Phase
- Transition Phase – Infrastructure / Process / People
- Implementation Phase
- Support Phase
|
| Study and Business Analysis Phase: |
PANDIM CONSULTANCY Consultants would do a business study on the infrastructure or system components that are the scope for outsourcing. This would involve the current state of affairs like performance, topology, protocol, documentation, staffing, and user experience. This would also involve some study of current cost structure and current ROI / TCO levels.
This study would aid both the customer and PANDIM CONSULTANCY to prepare a road map for outsourcing – starting with feasibility. Further, this can be used to build a business case for remote management. |
|
| Pilot Phase: |
From the conceptual phase, various factors need to be confirmed before a large scale outsourcing decision on Remote Monitoring / Remote Management of the infrastructure / system components is made. Hence, if required, a small pilot is recommended. This would involve identifying a component of the infrastructure that needs to be monitored / managed. This infrastructure component is as a true representative as possible to the wider scope under consideration. |
|
| Transition Phase: |
| In this phase, the knowledge acquired during the study / pilot phase is transferred to the entire offshore team who would manage / monitor the infrastructure / system components under scope. Necessary infrastructure / people and processes are provided. Training is provided as required. |
|
| Implementation Phase: |
Once the team is trained, a full scale roll out of the remote monitoring service is done. A dry run is planned to iron out any teething problem that may remain. This is the final step towards the continuous support phase. |
|
Support Phase: |
In this phase, the service is provided on a continuous basis.
The following section provides a brief description of the underlying infrastructure. |
